Sighting Systems – will introduce you to the four basic types of sights: iron, laser, red-dot (reflex) or telescopic sights (riflescopes). Each sight system will be explained in detail, their basic structure, function and features will be demonstrated. The practical use of each system will be demonstrated and will be compared to the others. Every aspect of the devices broken down and carefully explained, so after the class you will have a solid understanding of all these instruments and will be able to make educated choices as to exactly what you need.

Sport Optics – will introduce you to the basic concepts of sport optics – simple optical systems such as binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes and rangefinders. The class will explain the basics of these instruments, how to gauge what you need, understanding their structure, function, and features, and making educated purchasing decisions.

Reach for the Stars – will introduce you to the basic concepts of astronomy, what instruments to use, and how to use them. The different types of telescopes, mounts, and operating options will be demonstrated. You will have a fair understanding of the night sky and different space bodies, and the instruments to see and identify them. Alternative astronomy options with binoculars and spotting scopes, as well as how to photograph the night sky will be presented.

Zero the Hero – will introduce and explain in detail the principles of boresighting and zeroing. The different methods and options, as well as every firearm/sight combination will be presented in detail, and how to zero your specific firearm, sight (or sights!), and ammunition combo.
